GETTING STARTED

How do I signup for a free uStartups account?

In order for you to submit or fund a uStartup, you first need a free uStartups account. Obtain an account by clicking on Signup at the top of the home page. You will receive an email with a link to verify your account.

Obtaining a WePay account

In order to receive funds, you must first register at WePay, our credit card processor. You will receive an email from WePay in the email address to confirm your email. Once confirmed, you can create your WePay account and add the tools you'll need to collect and send money.

Existing WePay users
If you already have an WePay Account, please login with your email and password

New WePay users

If you do not have a WePay Account, follow the prompts and enter the required information.
You will receive an email from WePay requesting you to confirm your email address. As soon as you confirm your email address, you should be able to use your account to send and receive donations

WePay to Fund uStartups
uStartups does not store your WePay account credentials for security purposes. You would need to enter your WePay username and password yourself. Choose the payment method you want to use from the drop down menu and click on the "Pay with 1-Click" button. You will receive an email confirming your payment/donation.

WePay to Submit uStartups
Each time a donation is made to your project, you will receive an email notification.

WePay is currently only available for United States residents to receive funding; however, funders can be international.

To create a WePay account, you need a social security number, a United States billing address and a United States bank account.
